I am very happy to be celebrating our 50th reunion, so excited to see all of you.  I guess first of all I was married and divorced after 40 years ( you read it right 40 years) I owned and operated a jewelry store, was an accounting assistant  for the AFL-CIO, and finally found my calling. Social Services, the most underpaid job around. I worked with developmentally disabled adults  for two non-profit agencies. I started at the very bottom and worked my way up to Assistant Program Director where I retired from after 25 years.  Realized the lowest paying job was the absolute most rewarding.

I have 1 son who will be 48 this year. He is a Producer/Editor in the television industry. He worked for ABC News, 20/20 for over 20 years. I have 3 beautiful grandchildren. Erica will be 23 this year. She has her own Beauty Salon in Boca Raton Florida.  I also have twin grandsons  that will be 10 this year. Nathan and William, Very proud to say they attend Roosevelt School in Rahway. The very same school their RARA went to. (That's what my grandchildren call me)
I have been retired for 1 year now, I'm enjoying my grandchildren and still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. LOL

Retired Asst. Superintendent of Schools Married Yes with a guest
Greetings members of the class of 1968 ! I am really looking forward to seeing you at our 50th class reunion.  We are so fortunate to be able to celebrate this landmark event together.

After college graduation, I taught, worked  for the NJ State Department of Education, and then served in a number of administrative positions in the Montclair Public Schools. I retired from my Assistant Superintendent position in Montclair in 2007.

My husband Tom and I  were married in 1994. and lived in South Orange for 21 years.  We moved to Yardley, PA three years ago and really love it. Retirement has given me the opportunity to spend time on more creative activities like furniture refinishing, cooking  and gardening.

Retired from Sales Married 3 MAYBE
Well let's see - after RHS I went to Bucknell University for a few months, and then joined the turn-on, tune-in, drop-out generation.  Fortunately that didn't last long and I soon took a job in the laboratory of a chemical company, got married, and bought a house.  That marriage didn't work out but did produce three children and five & a half grandchildren.  The job did work out, however, and I climbed the ranks to Vice President of Sales & Marketing, wholesaling synthetic lubricants to oil companies.  The best part of the job was that it afforded me the opportunity to travel throughout the world and the ability to retire early, which I did in 2007.
I remarried to a lovely Irish lassie and we traveled frequently, savoring the great places I passed through on business trips.  In 2012 we bought a nice house with 25 acres in the peaceful Blue Ridge Mountains of southwestern Virginia (Floyd).  Unfortunately my sweet loving wife Katy passed away unexpectedly in 2014 after 23 years together, leaving me heartbroken.  The following year I happened to sit next to a lovely lady in a pub in our little mountain town who had lost her husband of 35 years just a few months prior.  We discovered we had everything in common and we married several months later.  Life is back on track!
Serious hobbies include growing vegetables, photography, cooking, reading, travel, volunteering, and art collecting.

Having lived in Rahway and raising three children, my husband and I moved to South Carolina in 2004.   Our  oldest, Tracy, stayed in N J and is a teacher.  Kate moved  to SC  with our son, Christopher.    We have two grandbaby girls, two great son-in-laws.

Prior to moving to Bluffton, SC, my PASSION in Rahway was our old Rahway Theatre.  Staeting in 1982 and continuing till we moved in 2004, I helped to save  the theatre, buy the theatre, restore it and manage what is now the Union County Performing Arts Center. It could not have been accomplished without the the many, many volunteers and fund raisng efforts.  Celebrating its 90th birthday, this year and  now the center of an arts district, it is the crown jewel of our home town.   The value of the arts cannot be ezpressed in dollars as the experiences are priceless!

My life in SC waw working in banking until retirement.  Now I love spending tiime with our chikdren and grandchildren.  Living close to the ocean, I take advantage of the Hilton Head beaches.    Hope to travel to all 50 states - forty down, ten to go.
Always on my list is a trip back to New Jersey every year I can to  see old friends.

Hope to see old friends at our reunion in July.
